Recommendations for Day 8

One of the best places to see wildlife is at the Etosha Pan. This is an ancient inland sea which has almost completely dried up, but still has a few spots where water can be found and it is in these places that animals gather for a drink. Ideally, you should spend this 8th day of the tour to either embark on a self-drive safari or you can arrange to join a guided, open-safari tour with Toshari Lodge.

You could also go on an early morning drive in Etosha National Park and then spend the afternoon at the Omapaha Himba Village. The women of the Himba tribe are well known for their red skin and hair, which they colour using butter, fat and a red ochre paste.

Please note
