| Description: | As a previous mission station (1895) Ghaub combines the ambience of pioneer days with modern comfort. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, ceiling fan, tea/coffee station, dressing table with mirror and chair, wardrobe and electric shaver point. They all additionally have a lounge area and private patio. The main area offers a restaurant (set menu) and bar and a large swimming pool with a childrens pool, surrounded by a wide open lawn area and towering palm trees. |

Special care has been taken to maintain the unique and historical flair of the old mission buildings.
The property extends over 120 km² and houses a game-rich nature reserve with extraordinary rock engravings, a 2.5 km long and 38 m deep limestone cave as well as a farm concentrating on livestock and vegetable cultivation. The cave is the 3rd largest in Namibia and is a huge attration for physically fit and non-claustrophobic adventurers. 13 million-year-old ape fossils have been discovered at Ghaub by scientists, while the release of white rhino into the nature reserve, along with special anti-poaching patrols, ensures the continuity of this exceptional species. |
