| Description: | The rooms are rustically, yet comfortable decorated and all offer an en-suite bathroom and air-conditioner. Some rooms are self-catering and offer a kettle, stove, fridge, cutlery and crockery. Mosquito gauze covers the windows. The main lodge facilities include a large sparkling pool, bar and expansive buffet-restaurant plus a spacious courtyard with lawn area, sunny spaces and shady trees. |

A few kilometers from the Lodge, rocky outcrops of massive granite boulders with Bushman paintings conjure up visions of a giant’s playground.
Hammerstein have a number of wild animals which have been rescued from various situations and cannot be released into the wild as they would not survive. They are held in large fenced areas with natural habitat materials inside, and a short walk with a Guide will take you to see Caracal, Brown Hyena and Cheetah. |
