Location:The Plains Camp is located within the secluded wilderness area of the Okonjima Nature Reserve, which lies 10km off the B1 National Road midway between Windhoek and Etosha.

10 View Rooms, 14 Standard Rooms and 6 Garden Rooms
Description:Each View Room has a large veranda with two day beds and two loungers and a wheelchair ramp. Inside there are two double beds, a desk and comfortable chair. A tea/coffee station and mini fridge are provided, two roof fans keep the rooms cool and airy and twin basins and a large shower compliment the bathroom.
The View Rooms are spaced well-apart for your privacy and offer wonderful views across the grass plains. The Plains Camp is family-friendly and wheelchair accessible

Okonjima is home to the AfriCat Foundation, dedicated to the protection and long-term conservation of all large carnivores in Namibia and renowned for much-needed “Environmental Education, Carnivore Research, Rescue, Release & Rehabilitation programmes, and Carnivore Welfare, Human Wild-life Conflict Mitigation and Community Support projects – throughout the whole of Namibia”.
This unique and incredible property is famed for its cheetah, brown hyena and leopard sightings and offers numerous activities to enable you to observe and photograph these, and other incredible animals.
