A special bottle of sparkling wine awaits you in your chalet on arrival. Each raised chalet is situated on the river bank and is linked by raised wooden walkways, which also bring you to the main area of the lodge where you are served by friendly, enthusiastic staff.
A large firepit in the main lounge ensures a warm, cosy atmosphere on cold evenings and the luxurious Restaurant setting is accompanied by the finest cuisine served at every meal. Amongst much other wildlife, the lodge is home to over 450 bird species. This includes one of the largest colonies of colourful Carmine Bee-Eaters, whose arrival in the spring fills the air with sound and colour. During the other seasons, Vervet Monkeys and Tree Squirrels play and hop amongst the trees and the haunting cry of the Fish Eagle is the perfect music of the wild, beautiful Zambezi. |
